Kelva, a Swedish manufacturer of web cleaning systems, announced at Labelexpo the acquisition of Emcebee Industrial Technologies, a Dutch web cleaning and filter system company.

“The purchase will give customers easier access to Emcebee special applications by using Kelva’s global network for sales and service,” said a Kelva spokesman. “In addition, the Emcebee product line of non-contact web cleaning and filter systems will give Kelva’s customers an improved and wider range of products within the paper and board market.”

Kelva’s product line includes contact and non-contact web cleaners, pumps of various types, roll shafts and expanding chucks, pneumatic air cooled friction brakes, web tension controls, and level regulators.
